Dr Mactier is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist working within the breast and head and neck cancers teams. She qualified from Aberdeen Medical School and then completed general medical rotations in Newcastle and Glasgow prior to starting Clinical Oncology training in Edinburgh. She has an interest in data-driven research, having completed her PhD exploring markers of radiation resistance in oropharyngeal cancers and holds an Honorary Clinical Lectureship with the University of Glasgow.
